Mumbai: A grand musical tribute celebrating the remarkable 60-year film career of Bollywood’s iconic “Dream Girl,” Hema Malini, is set to become one of the most memorable events in Indian cinema history.
Titled “Hema Malini – Live in Concert: Celebrating the Dream Girl’s Diamond Jubilee,” the special event will be held on July 10 at Mumbai’s renowned Shanmukhananda Hall. The evening promises a unique blend of music, nostalgia, and storytelling, marking six decades of Hema Malini’s extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema.
For the first time, the legendary actress will personally share untold stories, memorable experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments from her illustrious journey in films. Audiences will get a rare opportunity to hear firsthand accounts of her career, which has spanned generations and established her as one of Bollywood’s most celebrated stars.
The musical extravaganza has been conceptualized, written, produced, directed, and hosted by renowned radio personality Aniruddh Chawla. The concert will feature performances by some of India’s most respected singers and entertainers, including Sudesh Bhosale, Suresh Wadkar, Kavita Krishnamurti, Anu Malik, Padmini Kolhapure, Shabbir Kumar, Anup Jalota, Vijeta Pandit, and Purnima Shrestha.

A special tribute will also be dedicated to veteran actor Dharmendra, celebrating his enduring legacy and association with Hema Malini. Adding a philanthropic dimension to the event, a charitable donation of ₹10 lakh will be presented to CINTAA and FWICE in support of the film industry community.
